A CLEAR PATH FROM IDEA TO ROOM

Thought through. From the start.

A good conversion starts long before the first wall is finished. Here’s how the conversation, planning and build come together.

01

A conversation & a survey

Tell us how you want to use the room. We look at the garage, measure up and discuss the practical details.

02

A considered plan

Agree the layout, scope and written quotation. Establish planning and building-control requirements before the build.

03

The transformation

Structure, insulation, services and finishes come together, with access and the programme agreed in advance.

04

The finishing touches

Walk through your new room, review any snagging and agree the handover documents and sign-off.

BEHIND THE FINISH

Built to feel
like home.

The survey should establish how the floor, walls and roof will work together. Insulation, moisture control, ventilation and heating all influence the comfort of the final room.

  • Check structure and existing condition
  • Plan levels, light and access
  • Agree services and finishes
  • Confirm approvals and handover documents

Planning and building regulations are different.

Some conversions do not require planning permission, but habitable conversions normally need building regulations approval. Restrictions on your property, external changes or a new independent dwelling can change the planning position.
